As a relatively new not for profit school, we rely on our community to help us plan amazing events, keep our campus organized and show up for a lot of fun.
It is expected that each family will donate 25 volunteer hours each school year.

Back to School Night
Back-to-School night is when the teachers describe to parents the curriculum, classroom, and learning methods, homework policy (if applicable), and special events of the school year.
Please book babysitters /childcare as this is a parent-only event.

Trunk or Treat on Campus
This Halloween event brings the community together on Saturday morning to set up a super fun event for the kids. Halloween-themed lunch, Games, Spooky Walk through Forest, Music, and Halloween Trunk or Treat Cars.

Volunteer Days on Campus
We love and appreciate parent support to keep our campus picked up, our garden productive, our forest trails clear and our library well organized. Please sign up for as many volunteer days as you can. We adore the help.

Annual Fundraiser
Our Annual Fundraisers is a PARTY! Without family + friends donations, IFS can not meet the gap between our operating expenses and the tuition revenue. This is a fact for all not for profit schools. The additional funds you donate are a tax deductible gift. Last year, our theme was Light the Path, this year TBD.

Parent Night Out
IFS is pleased to offer childcare on campus (movie night and pizza) so that parents have the option to hire a babysitter at home or drop their children at school so that we can GO OUT as a community!
