IFS CULTURE OF LEARNING + LOVING

The following beliefs guide our particular culture of learning and loving at IFS:

  • Bi-literacy is critical for building strong, life-lasting neural pathways. It builds a better brain.

  • Bi-literacy changes our perspective of ourselves and our ability to see our capabilities in a diverse world.

  • Children are born with a brilliant light of love and light.

  • Project-based learning challenges the brain to connect, revise, and integrate thinking. Children are asked to process larger amounts of information.

  • Data science, AI technology, and digital learning are tools that students should be comfortable with.

  • A good sense of values, based on slowly nurtured practice, will be invaluable to lifelong happiness. Putting these values into resilient and committed action allows your “life to speak.”

  • Creativity and independent thinking are more important than ever.

  • Children must be raised to be true stewards of the planet. As a plant-forward school and single-use plastic-free campus, we put the environment first. We integrate UN Sustainability into as many projects as possible.
